Love this Weller WESD51 - it's a no thrills product - for a no thrills job, But it does do that job in style.

The wand is very comfortable to use.. Changing out tips is a breeze - the stand is very heavy and sturdy and the temperature is ultimately controllable which helps to prevent damage to sensitive boards and components.

Excellent - all you could need from a soldering iron set-up..

It sucks that allot of people rate things horrible because they had a defective item. It happens. It's something that consumer are willing to accept time and time again in trials because the only thing that can stop some defective items is to jack up the price substantially and perform labor and time intensive testing/ over qualifying of components and labor to assemble components. Also, since you're here buying a soldering iron, It would be assumed that you have some sort of skill in assembling, and understand that at your higher standards of soldering you would not want to make the $25/day or less if you worked in the field of assembling components, nor would you be willing to pay an extra $25 for your item (or maybe you would have bought this at a high up-marked retailer with easy returns.)
Furthermore, people without problems fail to review, while people with problems tend to always review, so beware of inflation on that specifically.

I'm glad i got a Weller, and if there was an issue Weller does work to assist in resolving said issue, it even includes an exploded view of it's simplistic parts to help you identify problems. I couldn't ask for more for the price.

I have used this iron for multiple projects and find it to do a fantastic job. The digital temperature is really handy. I do recommend you get a smaller tip if you plan to do surface mount work though. The tip provided is of the 'screwdriver' variety, and can be somewhat clunky at times.

I was using Lock N Locks for our backing staples (flour, brown sugar, chocolate chips, etc) and liked them well enough. But after seeing the POP containers on numerous cooking shows, I thought I'd give them a try - LOVE THEM!
They're extremely easy to use and take apart for cleaning. They look great and OXO is a brand I trust.
The negatives for me are that you can only put the seal in the dishwasher, not the entire thing. I also wish they were straight all the way to the top so that they stored flat against each other. They're also a bit pricey, but since I'm not buying 100 of them, I can live with it.

The 1-1/2 Quart we have found to be the perfect size for hold fruits and veggies in the refrig. It holds Sam's Club blueberries perfectly for on cereal and for snacking. Great for watermelon, strawbeeries, carrots, celery, etc... Organize your kitchen for healthy snacks, this item is a must. It keeps the fruits and veggies fresh so they last longer. Our son loves the pop top and encourages him to snack on more healthy foods. It can hold two quart size strawberries when cut in quarters.

I love these. I bought one big set to start out (which is better value than buying individually), and then supplemented with a few of the shapes and sizes I most often need, like this one. I use it for rice, granola bars, crackers, or anything else that is dry and needs to be kept from humidity.

I keep these canisters stacked right out on my counters, displaying their contents proudly. I don't have enough cupboard space to put them away, but they actually look pretty neat right out in the open, especially with pretty multicolored lentils and rice and such inside. It looks like a nice modern display, and people always comment on how much they like my canisters, both for looks and functionality. Highly recommend for all your dry-goods-storing needs!

This is the worst spatula I have ever used. The "thin yet durable nylon" is peeling off in little slivers. Forget about trying to flip an egg, unless you like your fried eggs smashed up and unrecognizable. Food seems to stick to it like glue. I'll never buy another product like this.

It's a great spatula, thin works on everything I have tried it on including fairly heavy stuff. My only worry is how durable it will be because of the two spot welds that hold the handle to spatula.

I purchased both the joovy nook and the astro. when they arrived i unpacked both, at first glance i noticed a good amount of size difference between the two. The astro is a good 3 inches shorter than the joovy. For our kitchen a smaller highchair works better however we ulitimately decided to go w/ the joovy. The 2 down falls to the astro were the shoulder strap pillow things and the leg cutouts. I didn't see in the photos, prior to purchasing, the shoulder pillows and they are HUGE. Later i read one person that said they cut them off, i wasn't about to start cutting things off of a highchair i had just purchased. I also didn't care for the leg cutouts, instead i found the joovy easier to get our son in and out of of. I did and do LOVE the base to the astro, its less intrusive than many other highchairs i have tried. If i could make the perfect highchair for us it would have the Joovy top with the Astro legs and folding mechanizm.

PROS:

Size (if you need a smallish highchair)
Seat Material, easy to clean
Folds very easy and compact

CONS:

Leg cutouts
Shoulder Strap pillow things are huge

This is the perfect high chair for small spaces. It is not much bigger than a dining chair and there is NO assembly required. Just take it out of the box and unfold it. So so so easy and looks amazing. My 7 month old stays in place, no slipping and sliding around and the try is just a basic no muss no fuss tray. This is the perfect solution to the big ugly plastic high chair problem.


Astro High Chair by Valco Baby - Chocolate Review by J_Leics

We bought this along with four other highchairs to test. This was the first to be ruled out due to poor product design. The design of the leg restraint / harness is so bad that my son repeatedly got one leg stuck, then the other when I was trying to lift him out of the seat. The leg harness does not come undone.

There were a number of other gripes I had with this product: massive shoulder straps, would not 'grow' with child as well as some products, plasticy material - difficult to remove entire seat cover for cleaning, lots of places for food to get trapped, not such as compact footprint as some chairs....

I would not advise anyone to buy this chair, it has been designed with style before practicality. We bought the Oxo tot sprout high chair, which although substantially more than the astro, we felt it was well worth the money and our son is very happy using it too.

It has to be reserved for all dry ingredients only. No sauces, no salsa, no liquid. That's it - spills is the main reason for me looking for a replacement. I used a gift card to buy this one, so no money lost, but in 6 years of having it I only used it 12-20 times max. And I love to cook and would love to use it more. But I dread the spills and cleanup. I tried so many times to remove/lift the large bowl without a spill - no luck. Even before you try to lift it, while you are chopping stuff -- if there is a tiny amount of liquid it will find its way out the middle tube and down the base and on the counter. The small bowl is hard to lift up without either getting your fingers in the food or having stuff fall into the large bowl.

The first lasted 15 years and the only reason I'm purchasing a new one is that a tiny piece which locks the lid broke off and I can no longer get a lid replacement.
