So swapped out the cabin filter in my WRX and man oh man it was nasty in there. This filter fit perfectly and best part was it was a FRACTION of the OEM REPLACEMENT. Car feels a lot easier to breath in too. Remember some products on a car are usually made by products of the lowest bidder so please don't always feel that you have to buy OEM. Great product. No question about that.

My vehicle requires the removal of several screws to get at the cabin air filter location. Therefore, once you start it is important everything goes together the way it should as one does not relish doing it over. I have replaced the cabin filter several times and this is my first use of the Fram. It does not fit snuggly so there is concern air may come in around the filter. All other filters had a rigid frame and seemed to fill up the intended space. There has been no evidence of dust build up in the vents so maybe, and hopefully, it is doing the job as intended.

I normally stick with factory replacements, and also shy away from fram for just about everything. I went out on a limb on this one, looking for a better replacement than the factory cabin filter. I am very happy with this, it is a quality product (though it is made in china) that filters better and even feels better than the factory filter. The icing on the cake is that this is also about half the cost.

I highly recommend this over the factory filter, this model fits 2002 Subaru Impreza/Wrx and probably other subaru vehicles.
